Sunday, July 15 -- Canoe trip on AuSable River. Three and one
half hour float trip with a take out at two hour mark for those who want shorter. Opportunities to wade and swim. Mostly shallow and easily
canoed by beginners as well as experts.
Lodging: A block of rooms at the Super 8 Motel which has pool, hot tub, game room and continental breakfast area.
Camping: State campgrounds-Burton's Landing, Keystone Landing, and Kneff Lake. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Campground. Or pitch a tent or park a camper at Steve & Julie's.
"Food" for thought: Bring own drinks [no glass bottles in park] for the reunion and also a cooler for your drinks and lunch on canoe trip.
If you are "game": there are ball fields, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, shuffleboard, playground equipment at the park and bring your equipment to be prepared. Also bring board games and cards [especially if it rains] and be prepared to have fun.
